HOTPEC (Hephzibah handicap Orphanage Training Production And Estasy Center)
HOTPEC was founded in 1995 by Rev. Tanne Mugri Zadock with 3 orphans and 2 handicapped children. HOTPEC is a non-governmental, non denominational, non- profit making humanitarian organization that assist and care for the physically disabled, vulnerable, orphans, accompanied minors and abandoned children in the society. The promoter and founder of the organization, Dr Tanne Zadock Mugri and Dr. Mrs. Beatrice Mugri, who were called by God, have much passion with these target population, as such are really dedicated about its success in all aspect of life. The organization is presently hosting 139 children and has integrated over 500 into the society since its creation, with seven (7) pursuing the master degrees, six (6) bachelors degree, thirty seven (37) in secondary and Technical institutions, while the rest are in Primary school excluding babies. HOTPEC fully means Hephzibah Handicap Orphanage Training Production and Ecstasy Centre, and it has four arms which include, Orphanage Home, HOTPEC Nursery and Primary School, HOTPEC CIG and the Vocational Institute of Organic Agriculture Research and Technology (VIOART). HOTPEC orphanage home takes care of orphans, abandoned and vulnerable children in the society. These children are either brought to the orphanage by the Ministry of Social Affairs or individuals of goodwill. The orphanage takes care of their feeding, health, shelter and educational needs from when they are brought in to the orphanage till university level, and even establishing others into their career.

Presently, the orphanage is working with over 300 trained farmers in aquaculture during a World Bank seminar organized by CORAD/WECARD in 2016, coordinated by Prof. Pius Oben at the University of Buea, Cameroon, in partnership with HOTPEC. With each trained farmer, having a training manual. This training led to the decision of going further into Agriculture by creating the VIOART institute that offers short vocational training programs from two weeks to 26 weeks under five main programs, fisheries and applied aquaculture, food processing, crop production, animal production and marketing. Our team is organized in different groups and coordinated by the board of directors. But all the general coordination of all activities are coordinated by the Board of directors under the Orphanage.
• The Orphanage, working directly with the board. • The Agricultural Department which is another arm of the orphanage, working under the Cooperative and managed by a manager in charge of all the activities of the farmers and VIOART Institute. • We also have the Processing unit which is a sub arm under VIOART institute, is managed by a Chief of operation that Manager working in close collaboration, with farmers’ and students. • The Director is responsible for the General coordination of the orphanage and also acts as the CEO of VIOART Institute. • The Assistant Director of HOTPEC Orphanage manages the Nursery and Primary School and is responsible for the daily running of the school activities.
